About Me -

My name is Luc and I'm from Toronto Canada.

I am sober dad, husband, marathoner & alcohol-free life coach.

I’ve struggled with AUD - Alcohol Use Disorder for years. I was a party boy who once started drinking had a very hard time stopping. It got me in a lot of trouble. Once I got introduced to cocaine, things accelerated quickly and I was on a very bad trajectory.

On Dec 31, 2016 I made a very unpopular, bold and necessary decision to end my complicated relationship with alcohol. Despite my Italian and French Canadian blood, I came to the realization that alcohol did not mix well with me. It was unnecessarily complicating my life. I finally had the courage to prioritize my mental health over what I imagined others expected of me. It was not easy, in fact it was extremely difficult. I struggled, but I reached out and got the help I needed.

My journey with alcohol was a complicated one. From the outside, I looked like a fun, outgoing, confident, spontaneous guy. On the inside I was insecure and full of social anxiety. You would never see me sober anywhere in a social environment. I had this life of the party image to live up to. I thought I had to act a certain way. I thought others expected me to be a certain way.

I have not had the easiest path in getting sober, which has inspired me to get into sober coaching. I want others to learn from my mistakes. I know I have a lot of value to add. I am very big on mindset and attitude, and I will leverage these practices in my coaching.

I’m happily married, and my greatest accomplishment is my 3 year old daughter never met drunk daddy. I got sober before she was born. Now I’m an avid runner running marathons. I ran and qualified for the Boston Marathon in April 2022 and have big goals to run and qualify for all the world major marathons. Running is my therapy and keeps me on track.

Getting clean and sober and working on myself is the best thing I’ve ever done. I do not take my sobriety for granted and something I work on everyday. I am so proud to be part of the sober and running community. Some of the most disciplined, positive and goal oriented people I’ve ever met.

I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your greater purpose and to push the boundaries of your goals and aspirations.

You can do hard things!
